Laser crafting & contract part marking.

Graphic design & content creation.

Traditional audio recording (without all the AI).

BTBM Solutions

is a small, design-led studio

focused on laser-crafted items,

contract marking of parts and components,

graphic and document content,

and hands-on audio recording.

Current status: limited and project-based.

This site exists to document capability and ongoing development.

We work with FREQUENCY as a tool.

BTBM Solutions works with frequency as a practical tool—whether shaping material with a laser, creating visual content, or capturing sound. Across disciplines, the focus is on control, clarity, and deliberate execution rather than automation or abstraction.

Laser systems are used to cut, engrave, and mark parts and materials through controlled energy application. Projects are developed with attention to material behavior, accuracy, and intended use, producing results that are functional, legible, and durable.

Graphic and document content is created to support communication and physical output, emphasizing clarity, structure, and consistency across visual elements.

Traditional audio recording is handled with a hands-on approach, focusing on capture, balance, and signal integrity rather than AI-generated or automated production.

Process

Work is handled through a consistent, hands-on workflow:

Review
Purpose, material, and use are defined to ensure the work is practical and clearly scoped before production begins.

Setup
Design files, layouts, and system settings are prepared and verified for the specific material or recording process.

Execution
Laser crafting, part marking, graphic production, or audio recording is performed with controlled precision.

Finish

Each deliverable is inspected and prepared as a finished, usable result.

THE BREATH OF THE DRAGON

LASER Forge

The Breath of the Dragon Laser Forge is the in-house laser system used for crafting and contract part marking at BTBM Solutions.

The forge is installed, operational, and used for controlled, project-based work involving cutting, engraving, and marking of materials where laser processing is appropriate.

This system supports the production of laser-crafted items, identification marking, and small-batch work aligned with BTBM’s current scope and availability.

BTBM Solutions.

Where Story Leads, and Craft Follows.

BTBM Solutions is built around human judgment, disciplined technique, and tools used to support the work—not replace it.

Every project begins with a clear purpose and deliberate decision-making. Technology is applied to extend capability and precision, but the responsibility for outcomes remains human. The work is hands-on, intentional, and shaped by experience.

Design at BTBM is grounded in understanding systems—how visuals function, how materials behave, and how messages are received. This approach reduces guesswork and ensures results are clear, durable, and appropriate for real-world use.

Color carries meaning.
Layout directs attention.
Story provides structure behind every decision.

This mindset carries through all work handled by BTBM, balancing human insight with tools used to amplify—not dictate—the process.

BTBM operates on a limited, project-based basis.

This is the BTBM approach:

  • Craft over gimmicks.

  • Story over shortcuts.

  • Creation over automation.

Representative Work

This section shows a small selection of completed and in-progress work that reflects the type of projects handled at BTBM Solutions.
Items shown are intended to demonstrate capability, process, and execution across laser work, graphic content, and audio production—not to function as a comprehensive portfolio or catalog.

Work varies by material, scope, and availability.
Projects are taken on a limited, project-based basis.

Behind the Curtain.png

Behind the Curtain:

My name is Brian Watts

(the mind and voice behind Brian the Blue)

I’m a graphic designer, fabricator, and audio producer focused on work that carries purpose—not just polish. My background spans visual and document design, laser-based fabrication, and hands-on audio recording, with an emphasis on clarity, function, and durability in real-world use.

Design, craft, and sound are treated here as working systems—not abstractions. Whether shaping material with a laser, building visual content, or recording audio, the goal is the same: create results that communicate clearly and hold up over time.

This work isn’t decoration.
It’s structure, intent, and signal.
Across visual, physical, and audio production, it’s the difference between noise and something that actually lands.

That philosophy shapes everything at BTBM. The work is human-led and hands-on, supported by tools where appropriate—but never driven by them. Automation and AI may be used selectively for technical assistance or efficiency, but judgment, authorship, and responsibility always remain human.

You may occasionally see that mindset represented through a blue dragon in glasses or a mechanical raven with strong opinions. They’re visual stand-ins for how I approach the work—focused, analytical, and willing to challenge unclear thinking when it matters.

Vincent acts as a creative collaborator in that process: a way to pressure-test ideas, refine decisions, and keep workflows sharp. Not a replacement. A thinking partner.

The goal is simple:
Create what is considered, purposeful, and built to last.
